でも、便利になればなるほど地球が傷付いていく気がする。
消えていく伝統工芸や素材・道具。
都市集中型による地方の過疎化、薄れゆく地域コミュニティ。
様々な社会問題が環境破壊に比例して深刻化している。
今、私たちに出来ることは何か。
漆は、漆の木の樹液。持続可能な天然素材。
優しくて肌触りが良いのに、強くて堅牢。
相反する性質を兼ね揃えたこの多様性。
日常に漆を取り入れることで
「物を大切にする気持ちや、感謝する心」を育み
「世代を超えて、永く使い繋ぐ大切さ」を知る。
こんな価値観が広まれば、
きっときれいでサスティナブルな地球を子どもたちに残せるはず。
